Rank mushroom can grow at agriculture waste media and cellulose source like coffee fruit husk and hay. The Agriculture waste not yet up to standard as source of rank mushroom nutrition, so that require to be enhanced by other materials that is bran, lime, urea and superphospat fertilize. It’s possible to farm rank mushroom at area which difficult to get hay by using husk waste copy by chooses appropriate additional materials composition.
Project of Self-Supporting Enterprise (PUM) is executed during November-December 2007 in State Polytechnic of Jember. The Method of this research is conducted by two ways, the first part shares is control, mushroom media by using hay, barn, urea, SP-36, EM4 and lime, while second part is treatment, mushroom media by using coffee fruit husk, hay, bran, urea, SP-36, EM4 and lime. The result of this observation is analysed by T-test, and then analyzed of its farming.
Based on observation mushroom fruit stem diameter and mushroom fruit mean weight among treatment and control after tested by T-test shows significant differences. Total weight of rank mushroom production among treatment and control are 16 Kg and 16.2 Kg. Based on farming analysis shows that cost of treatment is higher than control, they are Rp. 211.550 for the treatment and Rp.201.550 for control. However, total revenue of treatment is higher than control; they are Rp.168.250 for the treatment and Rp.158.750 for control.
